Everlast PowerPro 164: TIG Welder Review


 

What you will learn in this episode:
In the last episode, we looked at the Plasma Cutting features of the PowerPro 164 Multi Process welder and really liked how it performed. In this episode, we are going to look at the PowerPro 164 again, but this time we are going to test the TIG welding features. When reviewing a TIG welder, there are a few things that you want to look for. Check out the video and give us your feedback on the welding forum!

In this video we take a look at the TIG functions of the machine.


Things we liked:

1.) The machine comes with all the accessories to do each process it is capable of (excluding gas)
2.) Easy to learn front panel
3.) 110 / 220v capable
4.) Good slope down
5.) Performs well in AC
6.) Performs well in DC
7.) Lights off at 5 amps



Things we Didn't like:

1.) Argon Gauge is marked in liters per minute (lpm) instead of cubic feet per hour (CFH).
