Hosted by 3M in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from June 3rd to June 7th, 2024, this competition is more
than an event—it's a milestone in your journey towards a bright future in industrial manufacturing.

 

How to Enter:

  1. Submit Your Entry: Start by filling out the entry form below.

  2. Share Your Story: DM us a 60-second video on Instagram at @3MAbrasives, introducing yourself and sharing what excites you about your future in the skilled trades.

 

Remember, we're searching for individuals who are not only skilled but passionate about their craft. Show us your talent and enthusiasm in your video!

Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: Friday, May 3rd, 2024

  • Notifications to Students Selected: Week of Monday, May 6th, 2024

  • Travel Dates: June 2nd to June 8th. You must be available during this time to compete.

 

What’s at Stake? (aka, the prizes):

  • Top Prizes: $15,000 for 1st place, $10,000 for 2nd, and $5,000 for 3rd.

  • All Remaining Competitors: $1,500 just for competing, even if you don't place in the top 3.

  • For your school: Each selected competitor's school receives a year's supply of 3M Abrasives, up to $5,000 value.

 

Eligibility:
Open to anyone who has completed at least one semester at an accredited college in the United States or graduated within the last 90 days as of June 1, 2024.
